About Aloha Spotlight
Every local business has a story.
Aloha Spotlight celebrates the shops, makers, farmers, and founders who make Hawaiʻi feel like home.
Behind every storefront, food truck, farm stand, and family business in the islands is someone who took a chance. We think those stories deserve to be told, and that the people of Hawaiʻi deserve to know who they’re supporting when they shop local.
We feature businesses from all six islands: Oʻahu, Maui, Hawaiʻi Island, Kauaʻi, Molokaʻi, and Lānaʻi. Some have been around for generations. Some opened last year. All of them are part of what makes these islands special.
Being featured is always free. If you run a local business, or know someone whose story should be shared, we’d love to hear from you.
